AE FUNAI students presents their Entrepreneurship skills

AE FUNAI students presents their Entrepreneurship skill. An entrepreneur is someone who develops something new (Joseph Shumpeter). Every student is required, and expected to acquire a skill, which is compulsory for those offering ENT 301 in Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo.

Students are divided in groups, and are to produce Germicide, disinfectant, perfume, body spray, hair cream, air freshener, liquid soap, tye and dye, confectionery, toilet wash and hair shampoo. Most of the students can be seeing putting on lab coat, nose mask, hand gloves, shoes/sneakers etcetera.

The presentation was done at ENT office at permanent site (opposite AE – FUNAI studio). Each group was supervised by their supervisor while the presentation was ongoing, and relevant marks given to those who presents well, especially on the end result of what the students presented.

AT =[ATTENDANCE] = 5 POINTS
IP =[INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE] =5 POINTS
IPE= [INDIVIDUAL PRACTICAL ETHICS] =5 POINTS
GP= [GROUP PERFORMANCE] =5 POINTS
FP = [FINISHED PRODUCT] =5 POINTS
PP = [PRODUCT PACKAGING] =5 POINTS
PB= (PRODUCT BRANDING) = 5 POINTS

With the grading mode, students can be able to predict what might be their possible score, or how good/bad they performed. It was a lovely experience as most of the students were seen happy.

Many students learned a lot from the presentation. Some are already planning to commence what they learned as a business in the school. While some others tag it a beautiful experience.
