Being unable to access the internet is one of the major challenges of technology in Africa. Internet access is not yet available in some remote areas. This challenge, makes it difficult to implement technology in some part of Africa.
Poor electricity
Most technology cannot function without electricity. In fact, in the process of building them, electricity is required. Without electricity, there would be poor maintenance and use of electrical tools. For example, the e-learning process requires electricity to power the devices that will be used for the learning.
High cost
Even at this day, the high cost of technology still remains the number one challenge of technology in Africa. Not everyone, family, community, or country can be able to afford them.
The more advanced the electrical tools are, the most costly they become. This makes it unaffordable for some people which, actually, affect technology in educating African youth.
