AE-FUNAI NUASA 100 level induction 2021/2022 academic session

AE-FUNAI Nigeria Universities’ of accounting students association (NUASA) induction was held at Humanities Hall 1, on February 11th 2023. The 100 level students were inducted into the accounting body. It is a programme to elevate the minds of the accounting students to focus on their studies and perform better. Also, to know more about the association.

The opening prayer was done by the NUASA president, Comrade Ezra Ezeoke. After the prayer, he advised the students on the need to be part of the NUASA body and to engage in its activities. He assured the students that the NUASA body is going to make sure that they see to the welfare of the students.

Director of Sports – Mr Ezeh Constance, 200 level.

Director of Academic Planning – Ifeanyi Ikechukwu, 200 level.

Financial Secretary – Miss Chima Faith Nzubechi, 300 level.

Treasurer –  Miss Egwu Precious Ugochi, 300 level.

Auditor – Nwaliede Ezekiel, 300 level.

The accounting students were glad to welcome NUASA advicer, Dr. Nnachi and the SUG Internal auditor, comrade Ukachukwu Remigius Emeka who is a 400 level accounting student.

Comrade Iyke taught the students how to calculate their CGPA to enable them to know their CGPA and how to improve better. The students were happy to have learned and participated in the learning.

Dr. Nnachi, NUASA Adviser, shared some experience with the 100 level students and encouraging them to be focused. Telling them to complain less and know what they are in the school for. Urging them to concentrate more on their academic activities and upgrade themselves to enhance their value.

He told them that apart from being a professional accountant, there are also foreign exams. He taught them about being computer-literate to enable them to know how to make use of software programs to run accounting programs.

On the other hand, there was a lecture on the accounting profession, ANAN, I CAN, e.t.c. to enable students to understand how important they are in accounting association.

Games, riddles, and quiz were carried out to entertain everyone which was very lively and fun.

Towards the end of the programme, the swearing of Oath into NUASA was done by the students. A vote of thanks was given and refreshments were distributed.

Finally, AE-FUNAI NUASA 100 level induction 2021/2022 academic session was closed with a final swearing  in call and response question and a vote of thanks by the President.
