Agency Bank launched in AE-FUNAI

Agency Bank launched in AE-FUNAI. AE-FUNAI Agency bank is an affiliate bank powered by Zenith Bank PLC. The bank is situated inside the school at Temporary site (Zone A). It is expected to attract the support of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) if handled properly.

Following the complaints gotten from students in November 2019 about the previous bank not functioning properly and closed, the school management made sure that they were able to provide a new bank for the student which is now ‘AE-FUNAI Agency Bank’.

Professor Sunday Elom, the 3rd Vice Chancellor of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndifu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), inaugurated the bank on Wednesday, 23rd June 2021.

Account opening:

To create account in AE-FUNAI Agency Bank,

• Request for bank account creation.
• Fill in the form given to you and submit.

Cash withdrawal:

Withdraw cash without any additional fee, unlike local POS withdrawal. You can simply go inside the bank and request for cash withdrawal. You can also use the bank POS. Charges on some services are lower than local POS vendors.

Cash deposit:

Deposit cash with ease. With this, one can no longer have to travel over 20 kilo meters (to Abakaliki) to deposit cash in the bank. It can simply be done in the school premises.

Fund transfers:

Funds transfer made easier with the bank. Since USSD fund transfer now cost, you can simply transfer funds through the bank services.

This service offers you the ability to purchase airtime without stress.

Remita services:

Here you make any remita payment with your generated remita invoice/remita number. After generating of remita payment invoice, visit the bank and make the payment. It is advisable you go in the morning.

Fees payment:

Hurray! Here you can no longer stress yourself traveling to the town to pay fees. With this service, you can easily access payment of fees. Transport to Abakaliki town costs N200/N300. Now you can save that transport fare.
